About Meg. . .

Hello! I’m Meg and at the time of writing this blurb I’m a twenty-something Milton Keynes-based blogger with a love for coffee, books, film and homeware.

I’ve been blogging for three years now. It all started after I finished my degree as I wanted to continue creative writing and taking photographs. My little blog was originally called But first, Coffee but has now morphed into Coffee with Meg.

At first I was terrified for people to find out that I blog, but now that I’m older (definitely), wiser (maybe), I figured I should embrace what I enjoy and seemingly I enjoy typing up posts and taking flatlays. I write about a bit of everything; from food, to style, to beauty to books and (try to) post every Sunday!

When I’m not working or making our place messy taking flatlays, I’m usually reading, watching films or spending time with my better half. I like to explore new places and love city breaks; added bonus if it involves good food, shopping, and instagrammable views.

Now you’re here, grab yourself a cup of Jo and stick around a while.

  • Hey Meg,

How are you? My name is Ari and I work at Grayling – a PR agency with offices in the Midlands and the rest of the UK. I’m reaching out on behalf of our client L&Q, a charitable housing association based in London. Over the last few months, L&Q has been attending family-fun day events across Milton Keynes & Bedfordshire as part of its plans to develop quality homes in the area and support local communities. So far, each event has proved to be really successful, with lots of young families and couples approaching our stand to hear more about L&Q and what our plans are for Milton Keynes & Bedfordshire.

L&Q and a couple members of the Grayling team, will be attending the MK Food Festival on Saturday 14th September. This, along with the launch of our new Saxon Reach development on 7 September in Wavendon, will help to increase our regional profile further. As part of this activity, L&Q would love the opportunity to partner with you as a local blogger on the day of the event, to help promote L&Q’s brand and message to the right audiences – young professionals, young families, couples and single parents.

We have had a look at your social media platforms, including your blog, and the content you produce looks fantastic and feel you would complement us really well. As part of our offer to you, L&Q is giving away free VIP tickets to the event with complementary food and drink vouchers to be used throughout the day. In return, we’d be keen to explore the possibilities of a blog post, and maybe some Instagram activity such as a post and story.

In addition to promoting L&Q at the MK Food Festival, we’re also keen to promote the launch of L&Q’s new homes at Saxon Reach. To help create the blog post, in addition to the event, we are hoping to invite you to visit L&Q’s new marketing suite nearby to speak with Andrea, L&Q’s Head of Regional Sales. This should give you a flavour of the brand, including our community work, and the latest information on Saxon Reach.

We would love to work with you, so please do let me know how this sounds to you, and if you have any initial questions.

    Many thanks,

    • Hi Ari,
Please accept my apology, this message made its way into my junk and I am only now just reading it. Please let me know if there are any other upcoming events – I would be happy to support. Many thanks,
