November’s Books that Matter Subscription box

I have been subscribed to Books That Matter for three months now and am loving the boxes so far.

Books that Matter are the UK’s leading Book Subscription Box service. Bringing female-led fiction and empowerment to thousands of people across the world.

Every month you’ll receive

– 1 empowering and inspiring book
– 3 x gifts from independent creatives
– A beautifully packaged subscription box
– A crafted menu detailing the book’s themes, and the crafters’ bios

Up until now, I have been unboxing the boxes over on my Youtube channel. You can check out October’s unboxing video here, however this month I fancied doing a write up here on my blog instead.

This month’s theme is Hear Her. It aims to recognise and celebrate the journey that comes from finding and utilising the strong female voice.

Books That Matter: What’s in the box?

The book – The Inland Sea by Madeleine Watts

The book is a coming of age novel which weaves together an ecological crisis with the intimate personal story of an Australian woman, who is left with the legacy of her great-great-great Grandfather’s failure to find water.

The Gifts

In this box Book’s That Matter have included gifts that aim to reflect the elevation of Female voices.

We got treated to a cute floral face mask (A much-needed necessity/accessory for 2020) and a quirky Tiger notebook, both items were designed by the talented Elizabeth Rachael, a British Textile and Print Designer.

Also included were three small prints and an exclusive bookmark by Talk & Tell, along with a copy of ‘No One is Too Small to Make a Difference’ by the legendary Greta Thunberg.

I’m always so impressed with the level of detail that goes into the creation of each monthly subscription box. Each month seems to trump the last!

I think my favourite item in this month’s box has to be the book by Great Thunberg. I’ve wanted to read more of her research and work, so now is the perfect opportunity to get stuck in.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Head over to my latest Instagram post and let me know what your favourite item from this box is.
