The best Pumpkin picking spots in & around Milton Keynes
Visiting a Pumpkin patch has become increasingly more popular with every passing year in the UK, and I am here for it!
If you want to buy a cheap pumpkin then I’d recommend heading to the supermarket because those prices won’t be beaten; however, if you’re looking for an experience/fun day out, I can’t recommend attending a Pumpkin Patch enough.
Whether you go on a good weather day with blue skies or a grey, rainy day you are almost guaranteed to get some fabulous pictures!
It’s also way more fun to pick your own Pumpkin, not to mention the amount of variety to choose from; children (or you, if you fancied it) can ride in wheelbarrows, climb haybales or dwindle away the hours in a corn maze. Often there are refreshment vans on site too, so you can have a hot drink whilst you wander.
Lillinstone Farm, Pumpkin Patch
I adore Pumpkin Patches, I find them so damn magical so it’s safe to say I was in my element. Due to the rain, we had intervals where we had the patch to ourselves, which meant we could grab some great photo ops too.
Lillinstone Farm is situated in Maids Moreton, around a 15-minute drive from central Milton Keynes. It’s a family-run farm which made it all the more special to support.
They have a huge corn maze. A refreshment van, a pickup service that runs customers to and from the car park and wait for it…Pony rides!
Highly recommend, especially if you have little ones.
Other Pumpkin Patches in MK
Situated in Wicken, Milton Keynes – The Patch MK boasts hundreds of Pumpkins and lots of fun activities for the whole family.
The Green Dragon Eco farm has a popular pick-your-own pumpkin carving experience, you’ll be able to ‘pick your own Pumpkin’, design and carve it, ready to take home for Halloween.
