Autumn is in full swing, and I have picked out some of the best autumnal products that Bomb Cosmetics have to offer.

First up, a sweet scented candle is top of my necessities list for the brisker autumn evenings. Bomb Cosmetics have a great variety of candles from sweet scents to floral fragrances.

All their candles contain pure essential oils, that compliment and enhance each scent. I picked out the Chocolate Orange candle, and I feel like that needs no explanation why. Seriously though, how perfect is this candle?!

Not only is super sweet and homely, its perfect for this season, and the lead up to Christmas. Plus, majority of their candles are around the £7 mark, which is such a steal for how incredible they smell, and their attention to detail in the packaging and design.

For me, nothing beats a bubble bath to help me unwind and relax, and why wouldn’t you make your bath as cute as can possibly be, with the help of this little Nuts about you mallow.

This cute Squirrel will scamper into your heart, with pure Nutmeg & Frankincense essential oils. It’s packed full of natural butters that will work wonders for softening your skin. Oh, and did I mention it releases Cocoa butter when you place it in the water?

And yep, it totally smells as heavenly as you think it would.

Next up, is the Goodnight Honey bath blaster which I have to confess, this might just be my new favourite from the Bomb Cosmetics entire bath blaster range. It’s warm and cosy vanilla and honey scent, makes for the perfect relaxing bath. It has soothing bergamot and chamomile oils that are calming, and much like the Twilight range from Lush, this bath blaster will help send you swiftly to the lad of nod.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Have you tried Bomb Cosmetics? What is your favourite product?

LUSH’s Halloween & Christmas range – 2017

Its official, we’ve arrived at the most exciting time of the year. Halloween’s midnight hour is close at hand, and with that in mind it will soon be the lead up to Christmas!

Each year Lush releases a brand new range for both Halloween and Christmas, and every year they pull it out the bag.

This year I was invited to LUSH’s blogger event, where they showcased their new products to us. So, I thought share with you some of my favourites from both the new ranges. Without further ado, lets get stuck in!

There are so many ghoulish products in this year’s Halloween range. Wither your going out or opting for a cosy evening this Halloween, you should definitely pick yourself up a spooky treat to get you in the festive mood!

The Monster ball has made a return this year, and I’m pretty happs about it. Not only is it super adorable (It kind of gives me monsters inc vibes) It’s packed full of lime, neroli oil and Olibanum oil, which helps you to unwind and relax. It also creates a gorgeous rich purple colour, which is perfect for a spooky bath on Hallow’s eve.

This has to be my all time favourite Halloween bath bomb, from Lush.

It’s both sweet and spicy, with notes of comforting vanilla and spicy cinnamon. Not to mention it gives off a rich, biscuit fragrance, which is super homely. This bath bomb turns your bath water a bright orange colour, which is ridiculously Autumnal.

Lush have recently launched their Jelly bomb range, which I have to admit, I wasn’t sold by… until the demonstration.

The Jelly bombs work the same as a traditional bath bomb, however these bombs create a thicker, jelly substance in the water that is super hydrating, and ideal for softening the skin. This particular Jelly bomb is made from brown seaweed, uplifting tangerine, tangy grapefruit and hints of cubeba oils.

Along with various other bath bombs, bubble bars, soaps and lip tints, Lush have also released ghoulish shower gels, including the Lord of Misrule.

Now onto my Christmas faves.

LUSH have created such a great variety this year. We are super spoilt for choice, with an abundance of bubble bars, shower gels, soaps, shower creams and beautiful gift sets!

They have brought back some of the previous years favourites, including The magic of Christmas bubble bar, Snow fairy (in various new forms) Shoot for the stars bath bomb, and the classic butterbear.

Shoot for the stars is definitely up there with my all time favourite bath bombs. It’s a product I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of.

Not only does this bath bomb turn your bath water into the dreamiest midnight sky blue, which looks so damn majestic and magical. It also creates pools of glitter, releases little gold stars that smell of toffee, AND it has soft orange and bergamot scents. DREAMY.

Is this not the cutest bath bomb you’ve ever seen? This cutie has had a bit of a makeover for it’s return this year, with new extra details, including his adorable scarf.

If you like simple, no fuss bath bombs, this is definitely one for you. The Butterbear is enriched with cocoa butter, and is filled with fragrant cocoa powder and calming ylang ylang for a super comforting, relaxing bath.

I actually can’t handle how cute these little guys are.

This bubble bar has silky cocoa and Fair Trade shea butters keep your skin smooth and moisturised. The soya milk powder softens the water, leaving it super silky and luxurious.

I got this bubble bar last year, and really enjoyed using it. It has a super festive, Christmassy scent of spicy cinnamon and almond, and has a punchy cinnamon leaf and Fair Trade Organic clove that helps to stimulate the skin, and boost circulation. The colour this bubble bar creates is undeniably not as aesthetically pleasing as some of LUSH’s other products, but the scent definitely makes up for this.

Place this spicy bubble wand under running water and get ready to slip into a blanket of hot, almond bubbles.

So there you have it, a sneak peek of my favourite products from the new Halloween and Christmas ranges from LUSH.

All the products mentioned are available to buy instore and online.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

I was invited by LUSH Milton Keynes to their bloggers event.

AW17 Style – intu

Hello Autumn, you litte beauty, you.

A new season, means only one thing for us fashion lovers – A new wardrobe, full of new key trends! So, on the first day of London fashion week, the Milton Keynes blogging community met for the new AW17 style garden event, hosted by intu.

We were greeted with Prosecco and macaroons on arrival (Super dreamy combo) and were treated to massages from Clarins, makeovers and demonstrations from bare minerals and Laura Geller, hair styling by the lovely team at RUSH and lots of style tips from Topshop, Karen Millen, New Look and Miss Selfridges.

Bare Minerals were on stand by treating us to mini makeovers and telling us about their new BAREPRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation. Bare Minerals is a brand that my mum absolutely swears by, and a brand that I have been meaning to invest in for ages!

I also enjoyed Laura Geller’s new range of Christmas gifts. All beautifully packaged and pretty damn affordable! If you’re a fan of highlighter, make sure to check out their new Diamond dust baked gelato swirl illuminator. Admittedly, the name is a bit of a mouthful, but it so beautiful and pigmented! Plus their new Colour Luster lip-glosses are ideal for achieving that Christmas party look!

Now onto my fashion favourites!

A personal favourite of mine was New look. The lovely Gemma, talked us through the latest key items and must-have wardrobe staples. New Look are seriously nailing it with their new autumnal range, with an abundance of bright coloured statement pieces, chunky knits and beautiful floral embroidery.

I loved their soft leather skirts, and their feminine take on the classic biker jacket.

Karen Millen are another retailer that know how to ‘do’ AW fashion. Their new range boasts a traditional autumnal colour palette, with lots of burnt oranges, camels, monochromes and browns. The entire collection is ridiculously dreamy, and to be honest, I expect nothing other from the effortlessly classic, Karen Millen. I’ve linked their new #Workingit edit video in this post, for you to check out!

“This autumn we’re adding a touch of polish to life’s every moment, transforming the ordinary and mundane working week to be brighter, glossier and more extraordinary.”

All I’m going to say is think, ruffles, mustard, checkered blazers, staple denims and lots of statement red!

After our bloggers event, intu had lots going on each weekend of September, with makeovers, hair styling and style tips. I was also there, taking photos of all intu’s stylish shoppers, to showcase on the trend wall of fame!

“Milton Keynes shoppers are incredibly fashionable and work some fantastic looks, which we have been able to capture over the weekend for all to see,” – Kirsty McGiff, marketing manager, intu Milton Keynes.

A big shout out and THANK YOU to Lush, Karen Millen, Laura Geller, Clinique, Molton Brown, MAC, RUSH, Glam Glow, Topshop, Lancôme and Wrapchic, for providing goodies for us bloggers to enjoy! and of course, a massive THANK YOU to intu for organising the event, and bringing the brands and bloggers together!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post!

It’s important to talk about periods. Period. (Like what I did there?)

And that dreaded time of the month, just got a hell of a lot more bearable, thanks to BettyBox.

Betty box is the UK’s first monthly subscription box that puts you, and your period first.

Now you’re probably wondering 1: why i’m writing about periods and 2: whats so good about a box of tampons. (Am I right?) Well, firstly, I really admire what BettyBox do. I like that they not only provide a great service and product, but they also create a platform for young girls to openly discuss and learn about periods. Something that a lot of us probably took for granted growing up.

You can tailor the subscription box to your needs and wants, each month.

You can find all your period essentials, from pads to tampons in all shapes, and sizes. You can even choose specific brands you like to use! plus, each month you get lots of cute little goodies to make your time of the month a little more fun.

BettyBoxes include sweet-smelling beauty products, perfect for pampering yourself and taking a little ‘me time’, stationary and fun surprises for school/Uni/college, plus tasty treats for those pesky midnight chocolate cravings! (because, lets be honest, sometimes all a girl needs is a big bar of chocolate!)

I must admit, I was a little sceptical of the concept at first, but when I received the product, and done a bit of research about BettyBox, I was sold.

It is so important for young girls to talk about periods and puberty and even more important to know that they can and should openly discuss and ask questions about it.

Not only is BettyBox a subscription that provides young girls with a convenient and discrete way of getting their period essentials each month, it also provides a platform to educate and discuss.

Its convenient, discrete and full of loveliness.

I got sent September’s edition, which was ‘back to school’ themed and super cute. I was pleasantly surprised just how much is included! With chocolates, popcorn, a hair mask, nail vanish, and cute stationary!

The box itself is designed to fit through 94% of all letter boxes, so it can arrive without any hassle.

I loved the packaging and the layout inside the box. With a section for now, a section for later, a section for night, and finally a section just for you. A well thought-out concept.

I honestly think this concept is a bloody great idea! (another pun, sorry, not sorry)

If you want to know more, go and check out >> BettyBox << for more info!

  • Please note I was sent September’s subscription box for reviewing purposes. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

The perfect pick me up – Hotel Chocolat.

Last week I was in total chocolate heaven, whilst I sat, snuggled up in the new cafe on the block.

Hotel Chocolat Milton Keynes, has recently had a revamp, and have now opened their very own cafe at the back of their store.

The cafe boasts hygge vibes, left, right and centre.

The space is light and open plan, with warm grey table tops, chairs and booths, perfect to get settled into whilst you enjoy some well deserved ‘me time’.

The decor is understated, relaxed, and aesthetically pleasing. I wont lie, I was definitely trying to conjure up an elaborate lie in order to nab myself one of their grey chairs! And dont even get me started on the tiles!

The staff are super lovely. As we arrived, we were welcomed by Jamie, the store manager, who instantly made us feel at home, as she took our orders. I ordered the Milky hot chocolate, and Feargus had a Cappuccino.

If you’re not a big hot chocolate drinker, i’d say the milky hot chocolate is the perfect one to try first. It’s creamy and smooth, with just the right amount of kick from the rich cocoa. It’s made entirely using grated flakes from Hotel Chocolat’s 50% milk chocolate.

If you’re feeling extra indulgent, you can opt to have the chocolate moose on top, although I would only recommend this if you’re feeling extra hungry, as its very filling!

Hotel Chocolat’s regular hot choc’s are £3.50, or £3.95 for a large, which in the scheme of things, is pretty reasonable for a luxury hot drink.

Feargus and I were also treated a few chocolatey nibbles whilst we sat and enjoyed our hot drinks. We had chocolate tasters, and brownies; including a classic chocolate brownie, walnut brownie and the salted caramel, all of which were moist, and ridiculously Moorish!

Lastly, I have to mention the Autumn H-box, because, wow.

If like me, you happen to be a fan of all things Autumn, then this little beauty will be entirely up your street!

The Autumn H box, includes 14 chocolates, that all have comforting, autumnal flavours.

Picture cosy camp fires, blackberry picking, Grandma’s cooking, and naughty evening tipples.

Whenever I buy a big box of chocolates, I usually find a few flavours that I’m not fond of, and to be honest, I wish i could say the same for this box, because I devoured them within one evening. (Oink)

Each chocolate was absolutely delicious, and provided such a taste explosion. I know Hotel Chocolat is on the higher end of the price range in terms of chocolatiers, but you can totally taste that difference. The quality and attention to flavour, is second to none.

The descriptions for each chocolate are written perfectly. Some of the flavours, particularly the Apple crumble with spiced caramel, brought back such lovely nostalgic memories of my Nan’s cooking!

My favourites were:

Treacle tart –

A childhood favourite. Sticky toffee and a squeeze of lemon served in milk, topped with corn flakes for that classic pastry texture.

Ultimate Caramel –

Much more caramel than is strictly sensible. Thick salted caramel, caramel pecan praline, crispy eclat, caramel cap.

Apple Crumble –

Flavours of cooked apple ad spiced caramel with a crumbly crunch. As good as Grandma’s.

Walnut Praline –

Roast walnuts served smooth in a mellow praline.

I cannot recommend Hotel Chocolat’s products enough. They are the perfect gift for an occasion, or if you’re feeling extra lavish, a little ‘pick me up’ for yourself to enjoy, with a cup of tea and a good book.

If you’re local or are due to visit Milton Keynes, be sure to pop in and try the new cafe!

I hope you enjoyed this post.
